9/6/08 Tailgating in Tropical Storm Hanna

After the opening game and its 99 degree, 99% humidity, we were all actually looking forward to the 2nd home game and Tropical Storm Hanna! Yes, we (Bob & Jackie, and Corey, AJ & Cooper) still left Northern VA by 7:30am to get to U-Hall by 9:30am for tailgating with Lee, Jeannie & Allie in the rain and wind of Hanna! Even went out to Walmart and bought UVA side flaps for the UVA tent to keep the food dry! Rain stopped by 1pm, and then the wind REALLY picked up, so much so, that we had to take down both tents! Sun came out, and with it the HEAT and HUMIDITY! Not quite as bad as the week before, but still pretty hot! Cooper came to his 1st UVA game, and was so good during the whole game, which by the way, was a real snooze fest (Lee actually dozed off a few time during the game!). Final score was 16-0, UVA won.
