Our 34th Anniversary

We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary this past Sunday - 2/22/09. We spent the day on Saturday in MD with Bob's brother, Paul and his wife, Nanette. Paul just began a 3rd regiment of chemo at Johns Hopkins; his ALL (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia) is being resistant, so they are trying another treatment plan. This is being done outpatient, so Nanette will take him everyday for 5 days, and then they will see what his blood counts look like. Anyway, the day was spent with a lot of talking, bowling on Wii (I stink; Nanette kicked our butts!), eating, and going to see their new condo, that they are scheduled to move into next week. Sunday the 22nd, we went down to the Fredericksburg Pub, which apparently is part of a chain, the British Pub. It was a really nice place with good food - shepherd's pie and bangers and mash - and good ale! We are going to Cancun for two weeks in May, so did not make any plans to go away for our actual anniversary this time. It's amazing to think 34 years have passed and I still consider Bob my best friend!
